I have a feeling this place will suck. The people going will be even worse

Based on what I've seen, heard, & read to this point, my prediction is that it'll be a fad that dies down quickly. The BR clientele it attracts will get bored with it, and I don't see how it will be able to attract outsiders consistently.
Kinda like when I go to South Beach. All the tourists want to eat at the Versace Mansion and take photos and post them on social media. Once you've done that, you really don't have a reason to go back to it. The thing is, there is a never-ending revolving door of tourists going to South Beach, so there's a constant customer base. In BR, other than fans from opposing teams (most of whom are looking for seafood and other Louisiana dishes when they're in town) - they don't have that.

well aren’t you the haughty cosmopolitan
It’s just the epitome of dohchiness. And leadership created it or, at the least, signed off on it.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
WE STRONGLY SUGGEST COCKTAIL ATTIRE. FOR MEN, WE REQUIRE COLLARED SHIRTS AND/OR JACKETS, WITH ACCEPTABLE JEANS ALLOWED
I found this on the website hilarious

What’s so funny about a dress code?

This is obviously a man with a closet full of acceptable jeans.

I mean, having that dress code at least keeps the undesirables out

The phrase “acceptable jeans” is hilarious and so stereotypically South Louisiana. If you wear your church jeans you can get in, but miss me with those bullshite Wranglers.

Don’t badmouth Wranglers. Those are my church pants.

well we go from cocktail attire with jackets to jeans are acceptable. at this point, just borrow the dress code from reggies and be done with it.

Look man. We know you work there. And you’re trying to talk the place up. I can respect that. But y’all set yourself so far behind the 8 ball with the decisions made before you even opened up. It’s gonna be a long road for y’all. I see many changes coming in the near future. “We’ve decided to alter a few things” after the soft opening and subsequent social media fall out.

I never said it was the best food going, nor did I say it was high end. That description is what a traditional Wisconsin supper club is. And it's awesome for what it is.

I can't imagine the spelling errors where unintentional.
So you're suggesting a high end restaurant is intentionally misspelling ingredients?

Can women wear acceptable jeans too?

I don’t know this couple, this is from Instagram, but it looks like ol boy printed out the dress code and used it as his shopping list

Ol boy had some seriously nice arm candy and he had secks that night. Why the hate? I'm jealous. That's a great example of proper jeans with a jacket. It's a style and Supper Club allows it, good for them.
