Balut.

On a serious note, since I was a teenager I have liked peanut butter and bologna sandwiches. It started when I made an everything I could find in the fridge and cupboard sandwich and really the only things I could really taste were the peanut butter and bologna... and I liked it.

When I was a kid, I would make myself peanut butter & jelly and ham sandwiches. It used to gross my family out but I thought it was pretty good.

I sometimes put a little ketchup in my white beans or mustard in my red beans.

My wife put me on fresh sausage, home made biscuits and smothered potatoes served with maple syrup, according to her they had it a lot as kids.

A good ham is kinda hard to mess up.

Honestly though, many people use a syrup or preserved fruit to create a glaze on ham (syrup, honey, jams/jellies) so the only oddity is peanut butter and even it ain't that odd considering people have deep fried hams in peanut oil.

(Source: The late Harold Lipscomb owned and operated a country ham business in Memphis that he had no progeny to leave it too so it died with him. He lived around the corner and was in the same church groups as my parents. He used to take the racks out of 1 of his delivery vans and cart the youth group around the country. I used to house sit for he and his wife when they'd take an annual vacation.)

I don't know how weird it is and I haven't eaten it in many years, but when I was young I used to put potato chips on a peanut butter sammich.

Add a slice of sharp cheddar.

And spread mayo on one slice of the bread, if you’re bold.

nothing wrong with this at all. I used to get these cheap red beans around the corner when I was in college. They were kind of runny, but id add a tablespoon of mustard to aid in the consistency and it just pairs well with red beans/sausage.

When im at home, ill do half ketchup/half mustard as my dipping sauce for fries.

As you can tell, I like mustard.

Love me some mustard too. Will dip fries in it w/o ketchup. Mustard sandwich as already mentioned.

Wendy’s chili seasoning packets are awesome w/ ketchup for fries. Would put the seasoning on my burger too. Haven’t been back in ages.

I know it’s not crazy uncommon, but it’s far less than 50% of the population - black coffee. I almost always drink my coffee black. And normally its black iced coffee, which I’ve seen far less often than black hot coffee
