I like that they seem decisive and not willing to just throw a broad net, taking any recruit they can get.
Spending all day floating the banks fishing the mayfly hatches. Time didn’t mean a thing

Working for a landscaping company as a teenager. Building flower beds. Laying sod. Being able to work hard ALL day and nothing hurt, looking at the job when you’re done. Still wish I could do that again

Good post OP

Sold my beagles this past spring. Will be the first yr in 20 yrs without a pack. Chasing kids. Other projects. Lack of rabbits around here. Less places to go. The increased deer hunting with the idea that a pack of rabbit dogs “scares all my deer off”.
It doesn’t. Anyone that has ran beagles for rabbits can tell you that deer aren’t scared of them at all. Heck they’ll barely even move over. Kind of strange really.

Rabbit hunting with a few good people is a lot of fun! Kinda like dove hunting in that it’s more of a social event. Talking. Walking. And laughing
Keep it coming. Pretty interesting to follow.
Thanks and good luck
Was huge in central Alabama where I am. Probably still is. Nationally known arrest in the first one.

Second article has some hidden humor to it. The sheriff quoted in that article married into the Smitherman chicken fighting family. Was an odd situation because it s was well known this wasn’t the families major fighting location. Gave up a small piece to take heat off the major pit location and keep him looking good? Who knows

Don’t figure it’ll matter.

But please. Just don’t engage him. He can only do so much if ignored
And argued about who got off the first round.
He was unarmed though. He wouldn’t leave there looking like he arrived.

Agreed. Shivers had elite track speed if I remember correctly.
Mabson reminds me a lot of Shivers AKA Worm

Game and fish violations are considered arrest even though you get the ticket.
Had to report mine on job apps until it had been so many years past
FBI statistics show that 95%( or higher. Can’t remember exactly) of all self defense and officer related shootings fall in the 3-5 rule. 3-5 shifts. 3-5 feet. In 3-5 seconds. And involve physical contact with the suspect. Muzzle contact with a semi auto at best can cause a malfunction after the first round cycle. At worst it causes a stove pipe on the chambered round.
Which is why we were encouraged to tote a revolver.
But like thejudge posted, the hammerless can be snappy for a female.
Home defense it’s hard to beat the 20ga for the wife
This right here! This is the answer for all the reasons listed. Only possibly thing I can add would be to checkout the hammerless .38. Even more simple
Far fetched but a great thought on this message board.
This. Right here.
Can’t play one dimensional football
