Anybody else have any issues with meats / seafoods / cheeses being bad?

So far I have had a prepacked green onion hamburgers rancid, pack of chicken rancid, opened up cheese and it was full of mold. Tuna in display looked very old and brown.

I've had spoiled chicken that smelled like literal death. And had stanky ground meat. Otherwise, been very happy with my other visits.

i have noticed that since they took over the Leblanc's in p'ville the meat doesn't seem to last as long. like ground meat will turn grey the next day.

So far I haven't had any problems at the Drusilla location, but I only get their shrimp, lobster specials, and frozen crawfish

Wife and I were excited about the new Rouses on Airline and we have been a few times and just dont care for it that much. We much prefer Alexanders and previously LeBlancs on Airline in Gonzales.

Yeah, I've had spoilage issues as well. Couple that with a reduced selection of products that are replaced with their shitty store brand. The Duplessis location didn't even have a spot for unbleached flour the last 2 times I checked. Shove your "BEST CHOICE" flour up your arse Rouses. Every week my hatred of the Rouse's / Leblanc's buyout grows.

Every rouses I've ever been to has had rotten produce on the shelves. I don't know why people copulate so much over that store. It's overrated

The transition at Drusilla was rough for a little while, but recently I've been very pleased shopping there. No problems with meats. They've had everything I've needed and their service has been really good.

Their produce sucks arse. I've started looping into Whole Foods to buy produce when possible now. I swear I pay the same price for most of it at WF as I do at Rouses and the quality is infinitely better. I struggle to find any positive results from the Rouses buyout. Every facet at the previous Leblanc's stores is worse. Customer service, selection, price, quality. Turrible

I've had issues with their milk and meat spoiling early. We do our main shopping at Winn Dixie again and Walmart if we feel like dealing with the checkout lines

Twice. Once with the 5 for $20 special or whatever it is. The chicken and pork were rancid.

And the second time, pork chops alone.

Not sure why. I certainly kept them refrigerated at the proper temperature.

Had thought about bringing them back both times, but decided against it.

Twice with the Rouses in ponchatoula. One was a pork roast and the other was chicken breast.

Both were returned for refunds. The pork roast was bought in the morning and when opened that afternoon to be cook, smelled like rotten arse.

I don't do my shopping there any longer. About a month ago I was looking for some country style ribs. They were out on the shelf and asked the butcher if they had any. He checked and returned to say they had to cut some. I asked if he would and I'd buy two packs. He said no that it would be done sometime that afternoon. I left my basket full of grocerys right there and walked out.

I never buy meat from Rouses because that has happened to me more than once at the CBD location in Nola. Their organic salad mixes are almost always slimy, too. I do the majority of my grocery shopping at Whole Foods even though I can walk to Rouses. I do buy shrimp there, though.

Yes, I've actually quit buying meat from Rouses all together. Several packs have had a rancid smell before the expiration date, even some I've frozen as soon as I got home.
