re: Frying catfish help - bossflossjr
You can absolutely taste mustard on fish, when people use it as a binder. People that eat mustard, like mustard, or use mustard on fish - that say you cannot taste it - are clearly immune to the faint taste. Rather than mustard, use Louisiana Hot Sauce (its a little thicker than Crystal and I don...

re: Date night with wife in BR this Sat - bossflossjr
Stab's is the second best steak in BR, right behind Chris', but with a much better atmosphere, wine/whiskey selection, and apps... but not as good with the sides and with a wait staff that's not quite as professional. It's more relaxed, less stuffy for sure
You are entitled to your...

re: Rental Property Financing - LLC - bossflossjr
baldona is correct - whether in LLC or your name, you are liable. I own rentals and have experience with law and banking - it would be almost impossible to hide your liability thru a LLC for a rental property. If the LLC is sued - your personal assets are at risk. Get a large umbrella policy to p...
Why avoid Stabs? I’ve heard good things.
I took 5 fellas in for a client dinner and it was a comedy of errors. Clearly the staff is either undertrained, or inexperienced.... from the hostess, to both of our waiters. We all agreed, if we go back - its gonna be a while. We spent $800...
I love Rouse’s. I’ve heard folks complain about the one in Baton Rouge, but the ones I’ve been to in Nola have been great.
I used to be a fan, but after reading of poor products from this board, shady business practices, & lawsuits in the paper & Business Report - I dont do busines...
