I'll give you a couple of options on Jolie Blonde the first traditional the second a newer version with references. I'd believe Gee would enjoy both.

Clifton Chenier

Rodney Crowell Fever on the Bayou

My sincerest condolences to you and the rest of his family, TreeDawg.

KajunGee will be remembered fondly by all of us here just as those who knew him IRL.

I will have you and yours in my prayers.

I know today is going to be a rough one for you. I got you on my mind.

Give Gee a good send off, and hang in there.

Gary was definitely a great man. His greatness can be measured by you, his friends he has here and elsewhere and the support and love they have given. Thank you Tredawg, for delivering a Euloogy today that was in a word "Perfect", one I will never forget. I heard my brother say today, "That's just the way I like it". Thank you again.

I want to thank you all, every one who has paid their respects to a great man and dear friend. I did recognize this group in his eulogy and will be sharing this thread with his family. As I quoted during the service, "It is amazing to see the respect and love for Gary from people that did not even really know him in person". He was carried away to the LSU Fight Song, he was buried in an LSU Shirt and his casket wreath was all LSU. He would have been proud.
