re: Rewatching the game and I gotta say

Things that you don’t necessarily see in a first game of the season.
Minimal mistakes and penalties.
Composure across the board.
Resiliency when things don’t go the way they were designed.
Everyone, coaches and players acted like they had a job to do and nothing else mattered.
The two fumbles and having a TD taken away from us could have sent us into a tail spin but we strapped up, stood tall and finished what we went there to do. The makings of a fun season. Geaux Tigers.

Act like you’ve been there. Businessmen taken care of business.

A welcome sight. I’m all for the men on the team having a good time. Celebrate team accomplishment as a team. Just how when we intercepted and as a team we brought the ball down to our fan section and posed as a TEAM ??

I’m 56 and I’ve taken the tinctures on and off in different doses over the last two years. Each time hoping to “cure” what ever ails me at the time. Muscle aches, fatigue, inflammation or whatever. Never received a wow affect anytime.
What I have noticed.
Each time I start the regiment of daily doses, I wake up ready to tackle the day. I also drink coffee everyday but when taking CBD oil I hit the floor ready to go. Hard to explain. I don’t feel that I slept better but I can’t deny that the start of my day begins much faster and smoother.

Once, it was as good as many I’ve had and better than others.
Southern Pearl in BR is the same chain but they could not the name here. I’ve eaten at that location several times pre & post Covid. Never disappointed yet.

There use to be one on Airline between Old Hammond and Goodwood. I was a pretty good dog then but it didn’t compare to Chicago Al’s on O’Neal. That was a damn good dog.
Maybe unrelated but what is on all of the meat at Ideal Market? Everything looks like it’s dipped in iodine.

wonder if this will adversely impact Olive or Twist’s business?
Tried to eat on patio at olive yesterday. They are closed for what looked like major renovations.
Utz also makes another brand kettle potato chip. “Dirty” their Funky Fusion is the best chip I’ve ever tasted.
Never underestimate the power of money. History has many campaigns that
have been disrupted, challenged, lost, won, ruined and made by $.

McGuires is my favorite for Dinner but try "The Breakfast Place" for Breakfast or Brunch.
my Dad taught me to cook Gumbo and said not to use Cast Iron when cooking seafood gumbo. I don't believe it had anything to do with the effect on the pot or the taste of the gumbo. but more on the appearance of the gumbo. Don't really know. So I just never have. I use Magnalite for Seafood and Cast Iron for everything else and no complaints.

Tried many times to read back all of Kajungee's post. More than 17,000 post dating back to 2004. There's a lot of memories.
Kajun Gee and Tree Dawg taught me more about cooking than my mother. Sorry Mom. But you know that it's true.
Marinade in refrigerator canned beets for one week or more in left over juice of Vlasic zesty bread butter chips. Eat right out the jar. Addiction warning.
Might give this one a go.. Suspect that it won't be one for the freezer though
