They probably discontinued it so they can bring it back in a huge marketing campaign.

The dirty rice wasn’t always great but 8/10 times it was.

They already messed up the biscuits recipe and I remember when they had a green salad with a great dressing years ago.

It’s still my favorite fast food but nothing near as good as it used to be.

Surprising. I don’t go often, but I usually get the rice.

No time to cook those sides when they have to make those chicken sandwiches
Cajun Rice was a popular option but I can see where it would be hard to keep up with demand of making it

If anything get rid of mashed potatoes and gravy over the rice

As an old timer, i make the Popeyes workers laugh telling how me and my chums in the 1980s used to buy the red beans and/or dirty rice for $2.50, and the syrofoam cup that it came in was the size of a 32 to 44 oz Big Gulp.

Restaurant Brands International Inc. looked at the ingredients and probably lost their shite.

I miss Church's dirty rice. Not sure when they got rid of it. Better than Popeyes imo.

Is this just out of Louisiana because I had Popeyes for lunch before I even read this post and had Cajun rice with my tenders.

Pro tip: tell them you want the mash potato gravy over your dirty rice.

You're welcome.

I was wondering the same thing - don't go often, but had it for lunch on Wednesday and definitely had cajun rice as a side.
