I really wish they'd bring back the nuggets they had in the late 80s-early 90s. Those things were awesome.

Those little dinky nuggets they sell every now and then don't come close.

Cajun rice isn’t leaving the LA and MS markets
Lord, I hope you are correct. Dirty rice is the best side in all fast food.

The dirty rice mix, just like red beans, and gravy comes in boil bag. The rice is parboiled rice in a 50lb sack. All they do is cook a pre determined side of rice and add a heated bag of dirty rice mix on top and mix it in. Put it a warmer and let it rip. I can see it getting mushy if it stays in the warmer too long.

I use to deliver to Popeyes and people would tell me one Popeyes is better than the one down the road. In all reality is should be the same. It's not like they smothering down onions and grinding pig parts up in the back to make a dressing. All they doing is heating stuff up.

Popeyes cheap and sweet slaw is their best side

Their cabbage is always perfectly chopped

And the cabbage to dressing ratio is always great

Nothing like cold slaw for breakfast

Just left the one in Ponchatoula with a large Cajun rice and large mac and cheese. I asked and she said they had no plans of cutting the Cajun rice. The one in Covington has neither though
