I really enjoy Tin Top.

Jesse’s is good as well.

The reds are there - had some last weekend and they were on point.

Fisher's opened a new place in the last week or so. Playa at Sportsman Marina. Haven't heard anything.

Just came back from this past weekend and only ate out twice. Went to Cobalt and was a hour and 45 minute wait. Food was good but not worth the wait. (BTW we did not wait. People tagging along on trip waited for us.) Went to this place called Flippers and totally thought it was going to be a tourist trap. Was surprisingly very good and our party of 14 all enjoyed the food and bar outside.

Good rec here. It is worth the 20+ minute drive north IMO.

Without a doubt worth the short trip

I’ll second fishers upstairs as well.

Cobalt and Cosmos get a lot of love but I have never been overly impressed by either

My recommendation for seafood: go somewhere without a wait. There isn't a seafood place in Orange Beach that's worth waiting for over any other. They're all about the same.

Highly, highly, highly recommend Anchor Bar and Grill. Run by a couple from Laffy,
Best Cuban sandwich on the planet.
Locally sourced food. Seasonal, limited menu. Great burger. Scallop tacos. Nothing on the menu over $14.

Also, Playa opened up where Shipp'e used to be. Went last night. Not too shabby.

Salt is awful.

Luna's. Everything we had was delicious. And they had a Groupon.

Pappa Rocco's is underrated for some raw oysters and pizza

That's why I like Fisher's - they take reservations.

Anyone got an opinion on Lartigue’s seafood market? Looking around and it’s near our condo.

Lartigue’s is great. We get steamed / boiled shrimp and crabs from there every year. Just tell em what you want and they cook it while you wait. Comes with corn and potatoes too.

Joe Patti's in Pensacola is worth a 30 min ride. BIG FISH on canal road is excellent!

Thank you, this was an answer I was hoping for. My family and I are staying about a mile away, so that will be nice to have access to fresh seafood daily.

I agree Fishers is the place, but the poster that said Big Fish, that's my second favorite restaurant in OB now. It's in a strip mall and is uninviting from outside. Inside, great food and feel.
