Went there Saturday for my daughter bday… food was great.

Wait staff and manager - F

Told waiter about bday, and reminded him 4 times. Also mentioned it to them drink girl, or whoever it was.

Nothing

Mentioned it was a shame to the 20 something dorky manager ( who by the way wore a wrinkled polo and was dressed worse than half the customers), he didn’t act like he care to much, or shoes much remorse.

Went back in to use bathroom and hostess/waiteess/manager was clearly talk g about me.

Maybe someone on here knows the douchebag?

So the food was great, but they didn’t bring out the La Lagniappe sombrero and sing happy birthday? This is what you’re upset about?
I think you might have the wrong restaurant. Try Chucky Cheese or even Walk-Ons next year.

I hate it when I get the birthday/anniversary treatment. I go to a restaurant to have a nice quiet meal. The staff are not my family or friends, they don't really give a damn if it's my birthday. I don't want them singing, dancing or cakes with sparklers. Fake excitement is a bother.

Ruth’s Chris, Commanders etc… will ask when the reservation is made for any “special occasion” and do something small but quiet for a celebration dinner.

I though the one in BR closed down? Tried to go last time I was in town and there was a for lease sign out front and a homeless man sleeping on the porch.
