I doubt Parish has lost sales, but their share has dropped only because more breweries started

That chart reinforces my opinion that local breweries that make shitty beer can stay in business far longer than they should... People like going to local brewpubs, even if the beer isn't all that hot. I guess because it's still better than BMC.

Most people go to brewpubs here, well taprooms b/c we barely have brewpubs, because it is the trendy place to go. Most know nothing about craft beer and ask for the beer that is closest to their favorite light lager.
The real mavens are at home having a bottle share circle jerk.

Building has been for sale for over a year and the current tenant elects not to purchase it. Now current tenant and it's patrons are upset someone else bought it. What did they expect to happen?

Everyone of those breweries, except for Yuengling I guess, puts i more effort to make decent interesting beers than Abita. I really would love to see them get over this marketing/gimmicky funk they seem to have bogged themselves down in.
