My buddy has had a bumper crop of jalapeños and I have been enjoying the excess. I have made candies jalapeños, poppers, frozen some, made salsa verde and Crema Mexicana green sauce. Just received the last of the crop, about a pound worth. Any suggestions on what I can do with them?

Not sure if this is the type of popper you’re making, but halved, stuffed w cream cheese, wrapped in bacon is my favorite thing to do with them when I have a lot. You can also add meat to the stuffing. Dove breast is works pretty well.

Dehydrate and grind into a powder. Excellent on pork and burgers. Pizzas too, if that's your thing.

Chicken jalapeno burgers like Nunu's in Lafayette
Jalapeno cornbread
Make a chili
Could make a bunch of bacon wrapped stuffed with sausage and cream cheese and freeze them.

Slice and cook them on a griddle or pan the next time you grill hamburgers. The grilling sweetens them up and makes them a next-level burger topping.

I added a sliver of chicken liver this last time around and it was delicious.

I'll use them to stuff game hens, teal, or other birds when I cook them.

I had more than I could eat last yr. I smoked some and put them in a bottle w apple cider vinegar to make a pepper sauce for my greens. I could probably use it to make salad dressings or bbq sauce too.

Hot pepper oil is good too, but that’s better w cayennes.

Chile Toreados the next time you're grilling

Rattlesnake bites

Fried jalapeno slices

Chop up, brown with some onions and throw in either a homemade or store bought queso dip to add some extra depth

Add to Mexican street corn dip

Make a spicy mac n cheese

Pizza topping

Salt and pepper chicken wings (Asian dish)

Buffalo wing poppers (use a buffalo chicken type dip as a stuffing)

You can add to various dips to make them spicier: guacamole, jalapeno ranch, jalapeno and spinach dip, queso like I mentioned above

You could make some jalapeno and cheddar cornbread or even do without the cheddar if you want. Mixing in some diced bell peppers also works well
