No real opinion of which is best because I usually just buy what's on sale. The main thing is to do some kind of treatment to the bun as opposed to just pulling it out of the bag. I'm always shocked at how many home cooks and even restaurants will make a really good burger patty with good toppings and put it on a cold bun right out of the bag. It's amazing how much a little butter and heat on the bun elevates the whole burger.

Bayou, I'm not saying you would have used a cold bun, but for anyone who does...stop it.
