I’m almost to the point I think they did this on purpose so I’m 5 years they can go “retro” back to the old look and make a killing

Because there is no possible way they truly thought this would be helpful. This is on par as being as dumb as the Dixie beer rebrand. They pretty much took away the only reason people go

I could lie and say the removal of Ronnie McDonnie and Hamburglar is why McD lost my biz..

But, the truth is it's the removal of my freshly diced/cubed plethora of onion atop my QP w/Cheese, and the shrinkage of my Filet of Fish with Cheese to mere biscuit size..

I'm old enough to remember like Pepperidge Farm.

Probably responsible for eliminating the double decker taco. She’s without a doubt a communist

Probably the one who made the chili cheese burrito a secret menu item that only random stores still make.

The poor service for years was enough for me to avoid the place for a decade or so.

are cracker barrel locations ruggling in the South? the only one I knew of in Oregon shut down, but mainly because it opened right before covid.

People should just find a local diner anyway

The barrel is still there. Back up and look at the whole new logo.

That said, I dislike the new logo. New executives often want to change stuff like that to put their mark on a business, but the risk of a New Coke moment is high.

The International Paper logo was fine since 1960, then some idiot changed it to something that must be explained to make any sense, and even then you hate it.

High paid executives of the liberal persuasion cant manage a company for shareholders. It’s just a way to make their own political statement and change values they don’t agree with. That is a breach of their fiduciary duty to shareholders.Shareholders should file the class actions asap. Customers are already fleeing.

It was a great place in the 90s for a known quantity of decent to good food that was kid friendly and right on the interstate.

They had to do something to keep up with generational change (business built on Boomers, now finding a future), but they botched it.

In the consumer insights world, Cracker Barrel is truly best in class. For years, they’ve been recognized as one of the best in understanding core customers and catering to their needs. I don’t know what happened.

Sunday mornings are a struggle here. Our two best locals are closed on Sunday.

But again, are Cracker Barrel’s actually struggling?!? as a kid I remember them being jam packed every single time.

They’re not really a thing on the west coast so can’t speak to their current business but I can’t imagine people in the South magically not going and requiring a rebrand

They aren’t changing the food. They will have the same fatty food that causes obesity. It’s evidently not redneck enough. Triggered

Does anyone here realize that they are actually going back to their original logo from 1969?
