How to avoid processed meats for sammiches?

So if you go to the store to get sammich meats, it seems what you have to choose from is all processed meat.
Short of cooking whole turkey breasts, smoking hams, or cooking roast beast in the oven, is there an alternative at the grocery store?

Go to the deli counter and have them slice it for you??? The grocery store I go to has their own cooked options available.

I think what he is getting at is, even the stuff the deli slices for you is processed.

In house cooked meats from the deli
Or just buy Boar's Head.
eta: Depends on the grocery store and deli I guess. Roberts in BR makes their own roast beef and turkey.

What do you mean by processed?
I guess you can buy a raw roast or ham and cook it yourself for sandwiches.
I'm not sure what you're asking...
What kind of meat are you asking about?

You really didn't think that the deli turkey that you're getting is being sliced off of a 30lb turkey breast, did you?

Could always go get a rotiserie chicken from Rouse's and chop it up. I do that often, $8 for dinner for two aint bad and usually enough left over for one person's lunch day after.

Maybe pulled pork. I never buy that pre-prepared in the grocery store, but it is there. You can probably get brisket and chicken like that too.

Buy a beef roast, turkey breast, pork roast, etc. cook it to your liking and thinly slice it for sandwiches.
That way you control the ingredients.

Rouses seems to roast their own legit turkey breasts and slice it in the deli counters. I've gotten it before. It's very good. A little dry compared to the compressed mystery meat

All deli meat is processed meat unless the deli actually cooks the raw meat themselves. Then again, more than likely that meat they are cooking is technically processed meat if it is injected with salt water to make it juicier and weigh more.
You need to tell us what your issue with processed meat is and what about it you are trying to avoid.
If you want a SANDWICH (you’re not a 4 year old, stop saying sammich) without processed meat, you have to cook the raw meat yourself.
Products that have no nitrites, uncured, and/or labeled natural, are still processed. No nitrites added means they don’t add nitrite but they use an ingredient like celery powder which converts into nitrite during the process. The only real issue with processed meat is the sodium.

I tried the rouses cooked turkey breasts before. They must pull them at 200* internal. shite is dry as cardboard. I go to L&N and get Fricke ham sliced by the pound. It LOOKS like a legit bone-in ham. Even has the thin lines of fat on some of the edges. De-frickin-licious.
Fricke's

I bet you use white bread

Roast beef is probably the least processed and coast the most. You can buy a contraption off Amazon to make your own. There's a guy with a channel named Meatdad that shows how to make it.

Just buy your own meat slicer, smoker, and vacuum sealer.
Not really that difficult, just gotta fork up the money and then put the time in to cooking, slicing, and packing the meat.
