Had Forbidden Pizza (New Orleans) last week for the first time...

Was staying uptown but Zee's must have been slammed because they weren't answering the phone...so I went with a recommendation of the Food and Drink board and ordered Forbidden...went with the Garden of Eatin' (veggie) and added Pepperoni and Sausage.
It was a huge pizza and very tasty...but wished it was less floppy.
A little out of the way from uptown but would order again...Zee's is our default pizza place, but they get busy on weekends so call early if you want a chance there.
I still need to try St Pizza...

Forbidden Pizza is absolutely delicious! We usually eat at the bar. We’ll be @ the Roosevelt Thursday - Saturday for “Blondie’s” birthday, may add it to the menu…

I agree with you. Forbidden is more convenient for me but I prefer St Pizza.

I mean I think Forbidden is good but St.Pizza to me is just...better. I'd take it 10 out of 10 times

Im with you.
Been to both numerous times, St Pizza is the best in NOLA area by a wide margin, didn't realize I was in the minority thinking that.

It's not, but they are both very good. Funny that we are here talking about above-average pizza down here.

The top 5-10 pizzas in New Orleans are all really good. Not sure the order of the top 3 matter that much.

Zee and St are my go to. I live in the LGD. So St is closer but they are 1a vs 1b.

Maybe but it sure seems like this board prefers Forbidden (which is very good in its own right)
I just like St.Pizza better despite its prices. And it does not have the floppy crust, so Chicken might like that better
I have yet to get to Il Supremo because I don't go over there often and they had a bizarre ordering system at first

The other thing I enjoy about St. Pizza is being to get slices from the window and just going next door to Patron Saint and having a bottle of wine and some pizza (even if their corkage is very high)

I actually really like it as much as some of the newer more hyped places.
It's still as solid a NY style pizza as you can find anywhere in this state.
Was there a masked-up girl(?) at the counter when you went?
