tuna from the raw bar
fried bread
smoked tuna dip (use the fired bread instead of crackers)
shrimp roll
fish sticks
crab linguine if they have it
gumbo
that should be enough

had the Skirt Steak my first visit…so damn good and tender
second visit I went with the Smothered Catfish…not as good as the steak but nonetheless enjoyable

What's the preferred wine pairing on that?

Honestly I don't think you can go wrong with anything you order. It's outstanding!

Whatever joffrey drank at his wedding. Perhaps a dornish vintage?

Their salsa verde is on point, whether on whole fish or steak.

We really liked the whole roasted fish and the ground shrimp with noodles. That shrimp dish was good and spicy.
We actually got the ground shrimp instead of a dessert. No regrets. A couple of waitresses from other tables swung by to say they loved our dessert choice. I guess they were talking about it.
Had several things, all good, but those were the favorites.

So, we went Friday. Got into NOLA late, so we went at 9:30. Place was packed. As others have mentioned, it was loud, but I didn't have a problem with it.
We ordered some drinks then got two things to start off the specials menu -- smoked eggplant dip and ceviche. The eggplant dip was one of the better things I've had in years. I told the waiter I could have eaten it off a napkin
Then we shared lamb skewers and the skirt steak. Both hit the spot. The skirt steak was like butter.
Service was great. Food was great. I will definitely be going back next time I'm down there.

and ceviche.
Do you mean a crudo? I don't recall seeing ceviche before.
Glad you enjoyed it. It's a reputation is well earned.

Good to hear it. I don't remember seeing it. I was actually having a conversation with another Peche fan asking why they don't have ceviche on the menu.
I'll get to pass on the good news.

They had it on the raw bar this past Friday
Third one down. The fish was cobia. We had that, the eggplant dip, and raw tuna for aps. My favorite was the eggplant dip while my wife thought the tuna was the best. They were all outstanding tbh. Split the whole redfish and ended with the salted caramel cake.
