Thank God. That place sucked and the owner was a bitch. Any place that is cash only in 2022 deserves every bad thing coming to them

I would love to see someone try to replicate what they do with actual care and quality ingredients.
Their style of pizza is pretty great and rather unique (at least in this region - it’s rather close to a midwestern/Chicago tavern style), and the Round the World with anchovies, is really a fantastic combination of pizza toppings for the style (although, I really hate the canned mushrooms).

Who actually owns/runs it right now? I am assuming it is the original owners kids? Who would more than likely be in their 70s? .. I would hope if any of the grandkids ran it they would have adapted to a more modern strategy.
But still curious who is actually in charge over there. Always found it odd that there wasn't someone that everyone knew and liked that was the "face" of the restaurant

As hinted at previously, I wonder if the land underneath the business has become so much more valuable than the business itself.
