I know a couple people that will lose their fricken minds if eggs with even the slightest bit of runniness are set before them. I'm more like, eh, it's not ideal, but dig in. I'd rather have runny eggs than overcooked pieces of rubber.

I prefer fried eggs, over hard, well done, or whatever you call 'em. But I'm not losing my mind if I come across one sunnyside up.

I won't lose my mind, but I'll probably send them back if they're soupy

Runny eggs go against CDC recommendations.

Bro, are you trying to kill my nan? Are you anti-science, bro?

Eggs should be cooked until both the yolk and white are firm. Scrambled eggs should not be runny. Egg dishes such as casseroles and quiches should be cooked to an internal temperature of 160°F or hotter.

I don't like over easy where the whites are a little runny, but love runny yolk.

No I like over easy, then I break the yolk when I am ready.

Why would anyone not like eggs at least slightly runny?

Low heat, crack eggs into an already hot pan. right away pop the WHITEs, and slow cook until the whites are mostly done, yolks still runny. Light sprinkle of garlic salt, lots of coarse ground black pepper, thin shavings of Parmesan on top. Plate, enjoy

Anything firmer than over-easy and they might as well be scrambled.
