Went there Thursday night for the first time in decades, no reason not to go, just got out of our rotation. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a dining experience as much. First off, everyone was very happy with the food, great calamari appetizer, osso bucco was incredible, everything was over the top.
The service was impeccable, all of the service people were attentive. And the bonus was so many attractive young ladies in summer dresses.
A real delightful dining experience. Good job Mike.

I usually enjoy it. Fun place. Only complaint is the red wine is served way too warm.

I completely agree. I don't think it's the best restaurant in town but it is my favorite.

He just increased the wait time for a table by 30 minutes.

Mike is awesome.
He works his butt off and wants your experience to be great every time you go.
Showed up one night and it was even more crowded than usual and the wait time was over an hour. My wife and I didn't have the time to wait.
Mike grabs us, "Hey, what do you want to order? I'll get it going while you enjoy a glass of wine and it will be ready as you finish the wine."
We enjoyed our wine, the order came and we were home 5 minutes later with a quick to go order.
Kept us from driving across town to somewhere else that would have probably been busy and kept us from waiting for an hour for a table.

DiGiulio's has been a place where we've enjoyed eating going back to their early days. It's one of the few spots everyone in the family or a group of friends can agree on when picking a restaurant and always a favorite for my kids since they were little. Mike has kept the quality consistent but he also continues updating enough to keep people interested and attract new loyal customers. He never fails to drop by the table to talk a bit or help squeeze us into the bar if there is a wait. I appreciate the effort they make not to rest on tradition or just coast on reputation.

Gino's wins on veal, both the chop and the cutlets. But DG's is good. I enjoy both but find myself at DG's more than Gino's.

Many regulars during the week, often see Father Cleo on Sundays.

I don’t go there often, but never left there thinking that was awesome. It was enjoyable though. Got the spaghetti GOP as a side once and thought it was tasteless, although I’ve seen where some people love it. Meatball just doesn’t measure up to my wife’s. I think I’m ordering the wrong things based on how much people love the place.
