So I haven't heard much mention of BurgerIM on here. Has any one tried it? What is your thoughts? I have gone a number of times now and honestly think it is one of the best in town.

I went when they had a burger week special. I put it on par with Mooyah and below Burgersmith.

Only heard of it due to their ads in br sports radio shows. Still haven’t tried it as I avoid that Perkins/Essen intersection like the plague

When they first announced opening in BR, it was posted here. Most hadn't heard of them and if you looked at the website, they were opening locations all across the country in a very short period of time.
BurgerIM looks like it was somebody's make it rich quick scheme.

I pass by daily and never see anyone there

I've had it twice and thought it was solid.

Have a few opened in Nashville area - it's pretty bad here and way overpriced for the quality.

All of their locations in Austin have been failing

Been twice since I’m close by. It’s bad.

I think it is a solid burger, but nothing amazing. I like the idea of being able to pick multiple burger sliders though.
One knock I have on it was the two times I went, the service was terrible. Between the two trips, they ran out of ketchup, they forgot my entire order on one trip, forgot one out of my 3 burgers. Also, noticed I was not the only one there who had lost burgers or orders coming out a lot later than other people they were sitting with
Hopefully, they figured the service out.

Agree. I do like the flavor of the meat and the different options. We go regularly. Always get the slider packs.

Haven't tried it, but the company owner has recently fled the country and the franchisees are a mess.
That was a wild, wild story. I feel sorry for all those franchisees. The folks over here aren't going out without a fight. They have really been promoting the business.
The name is horrible, however. It's as bad as Quaker Steak and Lube.

I went to try it when I heard Moscona pimping it....but then I remembered Moscona hates O and can't get him as a guest so I didn't try it

Apparently that is how you pluralize words in Hebrew, so means they have many burgers? I agree the name is odd.

yikes

Most of these franchisees were inexperienced in restaurants or franchising—teachers, cooks, accountants, police officers, engineers, war veterans and real estate professionals, many of whom drained savings accounts and retirement accounts to pay their fee, all hoping for a piece of the American dream.
They instead received a complex brand built that struggled with some of the most basic steps involved in running a franchise—such as collecting royalty payments—while leaving operators prone to predatory lending schemes, construction cost overruns and costly leases. But then once the money ran out, Burgerim closed up shop while the company’s president and founder, Oren Loni, left the country.
He left behind a wreckage. Burgerim employees haven’t been paid in months. Franchisees lost their life savings and sometimes their homes and livelihoods.
Those who are left are doing what they can to survive, resulting in something of a franchise free-for-all of changed menus, altered service styles and even rebranding.

I've only had it to go once, it was decent. Would give it another try with a dine in.
Other than the original location, I have yet to be satisfied with any of them. This is 2016 and prior when I was still living in BR, but the Siegen location was terrible everytime we had it.

Worst part is some of these people who paid to be franchisees didn't have enough capital or credit to get loans for commercial construction. So they were screwed hard.
