Word is they are not renewing their lease when it expires in a few months. Moving out.

Lot of changes happening on that street it seems.

I bet Covid and the road diet aren't helping them at all. From what I can tell, their Willow Grove location seems to be doing well.

Hard to believe they’d give up a well established prime location due to a little traffic congestion. Yes, the road diet is gonna take a bit for people to adjust, but it really shouldn’t deter people from going there. My guess is it’s something else

The most asinine San Francisco type idea ever. Cut lanes and access in a high crime area and improve access for those on foot or utilizing unintended bike donations. All the while setting up abilities to triangulate gunfire.

I’ve never had a problem with traffic and I travel Gov street often. I do think the road diet is stupid, but what congestion stops you from going down government to eat???

Yes. Let’s ignore the former police officer shot and killed a block off Government by car burglars earlier this summer. Or the daily house burglaries and nightly vehicle break ins. Not to mention the recurrent multiple person shootings on FL Blvd a few blocks away. Government Street is completely safe.

Thought the same. They seem to do well there.. and the building is very nice and suits them. Weird.

It’s practically impassable now between 5 and 6 pm from Eugene through Foster. I take Florida going home instead. With the traffic the way it is, I’m much less likely to stop at any places along govt street for dinner on my way home from work.

With that said, Byronz on Government is practically an institution. They were always busy, packed, even, so much so that I hardly went there due the wait and how loud it would get inside.
