Good read. I actually prefer the oven with parchment paper myself.

I like cheap thin bacon that is super crispy. Oven method works very well for this.

Sous Vide
rated 8/10, points off only due to needing thick-cut bacon and that it's a lot of time and work.

Work is good... gonna try this.

Air fryer works surprisingly well...bacon comes out perfect pretty much every time.

That being said, I usually just use the toaster oven because it's easier to throw out the foil than to clean the air fryer basket. It takes more time but still makes great, crispy bacon.

Then you should get the Manda bacon.. That's thin cheap bacon...

Air Fryer works best for us. Easy cleanup also.

The author's inability to properly cook bacon in a pan on the stovetop colored his results. That's poor methodology.

Tried Manda, barely any meat whatsoever.
Was cheap though 2/$5. I guess it would be good for flavoring.

We get thick bacon that I cut it in half and cook it on a flat pan on the stove. Cutting it allows for more even cooking/turning. I use the grease to fry eggs.

The cheapest foil you can find will work just as good. 400 degrees until crispy.

I’ve been doing parchment paper for a while. It is also fairly easy to reserve the bacon grease for later use. I do that probably once a month.
