The gumbo at the lsu location is arguably the best in the city

That's the first place I had it. Have had it at a couple others as well. Mainly the West Monroe one. It's by far the best restaurant gumbo around here.

I think pretty much everything there is good. Is it Le Bernardin? Nope, but they don’t pretend to be. It’s really good bar food, though.

Are they still on the menu? They haven't been the last couple of times I have been.

I went to the Brusly location not too long ago and they were on the menu. I know many moons ago they were just an appetizer, but at some point over the years they moved them to the main menu, changed up the ingredients, and paired them with red beans and rice to make a super carb overload meal (boudin wrapped in a flour tortilla served with red beans and rice) which is probably why I like it so much...yep I'm a fatty, but a happy fatty.

Avery Island salad. Substitute Monterey Jack cheese instead of blue cheese. Chicken Berry Pecan salad good as well.

The shrimp and buffalo chicken wraps are neck and neck for the best wrap I've ever had. I don't eat wraps anywhere except for Walk Ons.

Haven’t had Walk-Ons in about 12 years now..

But, this thread has convinced me they may have improved upon their Sysco/Rheinhart color-by-numbers past? I need to try that pictured salad and the Buffalo sandwich/wrap.

I’m taking a break from Chai Thai chicken lettuce wraps and Chow Yum Phat Bombay Chicken for a week.

That’s the only thing I’ve had from Walk On’s that I didn’t care for.

Sorry you're poor and uneducated.

Nowhere do the numbers break more clearly than those based on household income. Blue cheese popularity spikes among people making over $75,000 in annual income. In fact, people making between $100-125k are evenly split, with a full 50% choosing blue cheese. Conversely, ranch sees its highest numbers among people making less than $25,000 annually – 74% of these people choose ranch. Similarly, we see one major correlation with respondent education. People with only a high school degree or GED choose ranch over blue cheese 74-26

Take your stats and stick em in your arse. Blue cheese is fricking nasty.
