Tried pluckers “fire in the hole” and was very disappointed. Not much flavor or really anything upfront, then a just a building “cheap” heat.

Their Hot is still great though.

apparently you wouldn't.

odd that you would post in a thread about eating wings at a restaurant though.

Unpopular opinion here. I like Blue Oak BBQ, but I had the wings there once. They came out very cold, and pretty small too. Pretty confident I got the "these are the last wings left and we aren't cooking anymore, so deal with it." batch...

TJ Ribs wings are really good

Also gonna give a shout-out to Bengal Tap Room downtown BR. I think they make great buffalo wings.

I am a po boy and cant see paying that much for lil wings. That said a po boy option is most any chinese buffet they all have wings 2 or 3 different ways and with a cold beer ya can get all ya want of them.

Ga Wings on Williams in Kenner is pretty good. Get the spicy. Might not be worth a special trip, but if in the area it's solid.

Sweet Thai Chili wings at Red Zep are definitely worth a try but Blue Store and TJ's are my favorites.

The old Outback wings were amazing for a chain.

I still dream about the wings at Smokin' Oak in Red Wing, MN, so I'd say those are overall tops for me.

Soma Sushi in Houston. They only have the wings at happy hour and you can't get them to go, but the meat just falls off the bone and the sauce is phenomenal.

The Francis Smokehouse and Deli in St Francisville makes damned fine smoked wangs.

TJ Ribs in Baton Rouge makes delicious wings.

Ivars Wangs on Wednesdays are hard to beat.
