Caught a headache around noon, became splitting painful around 4PM. At 6PM, puked 7 times. Went to bed. Slight headache in the morning. Started eating regularly. Never had the flying monkeys.

Had 6 oysters the night before around 7 PM. How long does it take a bad oyster to hit you? Or was this stomach bug?

if you got a bad oyster it will hit you again and again and again.

i think 3 days of absolute soul-crushing diarrhea was what i had. never in my life experienced anything like that before or since.

10/10 pain for 30 minutes, followed by explosive diarrhea that provided about 3-4 minutes of relief only for the cycle to repeat.

Bad oysters got me once about 30 years ago and it lasted a couple days.

I spent about equal times with explosive shits and puking to the point I had the dry heaves and it left me physically spent with abdominal pains and nausea.

I pretty much spent the better part of 2 days with my butt on the toilet and a 5 gallon bucket in front of me.

It's something I'll never forget and never want to repeat.

Depending on the bacteria/virus, it could be 1 hour or a couple of days. You really can't diagnose what food made you sick unless multiple people got sick eating the same food.

Where'd the oysters come from? Were they raw?

Left out another fact. Shared the dozen with a buddy, he reported stinky gas as the only after effects. There was beer, pescador al vapor and ceviche involved as well. All dishes were shared.

Bad oyster hit me around 1:00am after eating them around 6PM. If you aren’t blowing liquid yuck from both sides, I don’t think it’s the oysters. Don’t remember having a headache because the nausea and vomiting/shitting had me rather preoccupied.

Hit me by the time I got home from the restaurant (Chimes on Highland). After two days I went to urgent care, they put 3 liters of iv fluids in me. First and only time in my life I’ve been critically dehydrated, that was some wild shite.

There is no such thing as a bad raw oyster if consumed with alcohol.

Not a doctor but I feel like you have something else. Spoiled food usually means the trots in a big way. Headaches only? Who knows.
