Mine won't go anywhere else to eat and absolutely rave about the food. Blows my mind.

It’s pretty good. We’ve enjoyed the steaks when we been. The rolls are great.

My parents don't live in a trailer.

Must be an old people thing because my parents were always raving about Logan's Roadhouse even though I thought the food sucked and the menu was boring.

I guess I was right because the one here shut down.

Wanna switch? My FIL insists on Golden Corral EVERYTIME he comes to town. I'd kill for some Roadhouse instead.

I like Texas Roadhouse occasionally. Decent quality steaks for a reasonable price.

I spend tens of thousands of dollars annually on dining — mostly my employers money — and I am eating at a Michelin 3 star this weekend, but I am here to tell you that a steak dinner from TRH is a tremendous value and I take my kids a few times a year.

why?

You can get a good tasting meal for a decent price that won't bankrupt a family of 4/5.

Boomers do love them, and they also are consistent.

So there's that.

It was on my "list of places I want to go" in 2022 (of which I only completed 1/3) I haven't been since I was a kid and I've seen the food board say it's pretty good for what it is, so I want to go.

It's actually not bad, especially for the price.

It's one of the more quality chains imo. I'd never choose it over a good high-end steakhouse obviously but looking online now, I can get a 12oz ribeye and 2 sides for $20 (16oz for $25). That's damn near Five Guys prices these days

That's what my dad says. He says he's been to a few all around the country and said he knows he can get the same quality of meal at everyone he goes to. No guessing.

Some day soon enough my kids will make fun of me because I insist upon actually cooking food rather than eating the 3D printed crap they call a meal.
