Are you asking if anyone has eaten one of the most popular food items in the world, that you can find at literally every supermarket in America?

Can you blame me? It looks like poop.
No it looks like baby puke. But it is still damned good.

If you've never tried it, pick some up from your local middle eastern/turkish/lebanese restaurant the first time. After you fall-in-love with it, learn to make it yourself.

Alabama might be the only place in the world where hummus so foreign and strange that one would need "courage" to try it.

To the question “any good?” it is fine but nothing special.

I've had hummus dozens of times and Sabra brand is the best I've ever had.

Hummus went mainstream about 25 years ago. Every WalMart in Podunk carries three or four different brands in multiple flavors.

Shaya’s hummus is serious business.

If you think Sabra hummus is worth a shite if you went to Shaya or Saba you would spontaneously combust

I make it and use more tahini than it normally calls for. I also will use white cannelini beans from time to time and they are lighter than chickpeas.

And yes Shaya is phenomenal but so is Zorbas in BR. Good olive oil makes a difference as well.
