I'll agree but I love the bloody juices so I go lower on the fatties.
My wife hates fat and doesn't like anything below a 4. Just a disgusting waste of money.

2 or 3, the people picking 5 just don’t know any better because they were taught wrong and that’s why the cycle of butchering good beef continues to happen.

#2 is the max, but you really can’t undercook it. I have had and enjoyed steak tartare. When people scoff that my steak is mooing, I tell them how cool it would be to eat meat from a cow while it’s still alive. That shuts them up every time.

Can eat 1,2, or 3 but 2.5 is optimal.

2-3 is perfect for a steak
If it’s a 1, I will slice it thin and eat it with a homemade ponzu like sauce. Eating a thick cold steak isn’t appealing to me
