so you don't understand a dish because you've never even had it. Shocker

What's there to understand? It's 2 foods that I love separately and have no desire to try together.

I feel the same about shrimp and corn soup also.

Giant baked potatoes covered with stuff. Talking about potato w/ etoufee or brisket. Not that it's bad, just the potato seems unnecessary.

I second the pork belly. It's just expensive fat

Not worth the calories IMO.

Fried shrimp and boneless wings are a waste too.

You sound like a child.

You have never tried something and will not for no other reason than you don't want to try.

I sort of agree although a pork belly cooked right is delicious. I've had too many bad ones though. Gotta get that outside nice and crispy

I will agree with pork belly. Does nothing for me.
Pho too.

The biggest one for me though are Crab Cakes.

Shrimp and grits is such a diverse dish that it really depends on how its made.

I can see how you wouldn't get it, if it was simply shrimp on top of grits. It's all about the sauce.

For me, it's the way people seem to love cream cheese.

In sushi rolls...nasty shite. Ruins the taste.

And here in TX, every place that does nice quail/chicken thighs wrapped in bacon, just screws up an otherwise nice food by adding that asian in the middle.

Also, sour beers. WTF??
