I strongly disagree. Tuna is the first thing that comes to mind. To me, raw tuna is a delicacy, while cooked tuna is ruined.

The raw whole Japanese horse mackerel (aji) that is served at Umami is one of the best things I've ever eaten.

That green bean, cream of mushroom soup, onion ring slop served at Thanksgiving.
You ought to try Alton Brown's from scratch version. Fresh green beans, caramelized mushrooms in homemade sauce and oven-baked onion rings. The canned stuff will be inedible after you taste the real thing.

Mine is fish tacos. I've had them several times but I just don't get the appeal.

Try Lucy's.

One of my favorite meals. But I'd say they are a disappointment at 4/5 restaurants.

Seconded. I'd probably prefer it raw anyway, but I certainly don't want it cooked any more than just a quick hot sear. Tuna cooked through borders on inedible for me.

Those of you that choose to use Kale as a breakfast option in the form of a shake with shite like pineapple, walnuts, and some protein powder should just shove your finger down your throat every morning.

I don't get crabs. The meat is fishy tasting and it takes 20 minutes to eat one. I never leave feeling full.

If you get them done right, they are really easy to get the meat out of.

You'd just need a butter knife to insert down the leg to split it open and take the meat out.

I think he's talking about blue or dungeness crabs. Snow or kings are easy to eat.

Will never have talipia or the imported catfish. Texture is off on both. Lots of restaurateurs are forced to make decisions on $$ and not quality. I get it, but not for me.
