I don't get popcorn. I like the taste, but I just can't stand getting those kernel pieces all stuck up in my teeth and throat.

Banana mayonnaise sandwiches

Is this really a thing? I am as big a fan of mayo as anyone and I like bananas just fine but this just sounds hideous...

For me, pimento cheese anything is just something I don't care for. In honor of Thanksgiving approaching I'll add that canned cranberry crap on turkey and candied yams. I do however, love baked sweet potatoes dressed like a regular baked potato sans the cheese and sour cream.

Banana + mayo + bacon + peanut butter on toast

Don't knock it til you try it

I'm usually willing to try anything and if I were 10 years younger and not on a constant mission to limit my carb intake except on special occasions, I'd give it a shot. I won't lie though, the combination doesn't sound even the least bit enticing.

How I would do it, canard

Fry bacon
Let bacon cool
Crumble up bacon in peanut butter
Remove just about all bacon grease from pan
Use the mayo as a butter substitute to.help toast the bread
Apply bacon/PB spread
Slice bananas on top

I had it at a diner in Memphis that Elvis frequented. Supposedly his favorite sandwich.

Well I've definitely heard the Elvis PB and Banana sandwich but the original post was mayo and banana with bread, then you added PB + bacon to the mix and that feels less wrong than mayo/ banana but still wrong. I'd try it if someone already had one made but I'm just not going to make one or order it for myself.

To each their own...

Pho is good if you know how to doctor it up and it's best at old authentic hole in the wall spots

Serious question, how have you gone your entire life without having shrimp and grits? It seems like at least at one point you would try it

I'm 45y/o and have never came close to trying them.
I like my grits 1 way only. S/P and butter. That's it.
I love shrimp cooked almost any kind of way....except with grits.

Well I'm never going to try a shite sandwich but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't like that either.
No pointing in trying something I already know I'm not going to like.
