I'm not trying to talk you into liking the combo, but try the sauce at least at some point. It is amazing when made well.

Just about everything is better than chicken noodle soup. I can't stand that crap. Maybe that's why I'm lukewarm on pho, because I find it to be gussied up chicken noodle soup.

That horrible green bean casserole that everybody serves during the holidays . Mushy , overprocessed mess. And I love fresh green beans.

If your only experience with Pho is at somewhere like drunken fish; then yes, you haven't had good pho.
A deep rich pho broth is a gift from god when you are hungover.

That shepherd's pie thing with the ground beef on the bottom and the mashed potatoes on top. Yuck.

What is with all the "let's bitch about certain foods" threads lately"?
If you don't like it, don't eat it, don't rank on it.
I'm usually happy, I promise

It's raw oysters for me. I try them every few years and just can't get down with them. But charbroiled, I could eat good ones until I fell off my chair.

My most disliked food is raw celery. They tried to trick us as kids by putting peanut butter in the middle, but I'd just scoop the pb out with my index finger and throw the celery in trash. Disgusting, vile stuff.

food art. people try to make food look fancy so they can charge more money and have smaller portions too.

This is stupid. What part of shrimp or grits is even roughly analogous to actual shite and bread?
You're being obtuse. You have made up your mind that something is bad without trying it, which is something a 6 year old does. You like the ingredients, and yet you're refusing it. I'd understand if you had a coherent argument about some relevant factor, i.e., the aforementioned banana and mayo sandwich -- that just sounds like mush, which is displeasing. But you're just being ridiculous.

A taco salad in a chip bowl or even a soup in a bread bowl. Wtf? You can't consume the two together as one is needed to hold the other so you are left with a soggy chip or bread bowl to eat at the end. Just a terrible concept.

The purpose is to elevate the culinary experience. Think of the effect lingerie and grooming have on a sexual experience.

That green bean, cream of mushroom soup, onion ring slop served at Thanksgiving.

I couldn't agree more. I enjoy fresh green beans and most of the other ingredients individually. Mix it all up and throw it out...
