Why wouldn’t they just drive themselves to a different polling place?

That doesn’t make sense

Unless you are already parked and parking is difficult. Just get a ride over to the next precinct, vote and a ride back.

But I don't understand how this works in Arizona. I'm designated to a specific precinct in Louisiana and have to vote at that precinct polling location. Maybe AZ doesn't work like this.

Wow. We have designated polling locations .. and we only are assigned one. They’re all “local”/nearby to where you live.

That’s the part I’m wondering about. Cannot do that in Louisiana.

Nor Mississippi. I moved 6 yrs ago and it’s very similar to LA except we use paper ballots that have to be bubbled in with an ink pen then we feed them into a scanner that has a collection bin.

Looks like we are now battling Dems in their arena with their tactics. If you can buss people to the polls so can we. Want to ballot harvest? We coming.

in Kansas and Missouri, you also only have one assigned polling location. You can't vote anywhere else.

Each state may be different. Arizona may have a system where they can vote and do not need to go to a specific location.

Good. If legal, take advantage of it. The Dems would.

Doesn’t make sense to me that you can vote in multiple places as an option

My county in KY moved to a vote at any precinct method in 2022. It works great, you go to any precinct in the county, give them your ID, they scan it, they give you the ballot for your actual location.

It works because last year for the governor election my ballot stopped printing halfway through. They couldn't reprint my ballot because it told them that I had already checked in. They had to actually call the County Clerk to have it overridden so another ballot could be printed. Even then it was a provisional vote.

I was thinking the same thing. I'm sure it's legal otherwise they wouldn't be putting it out there.

Nothing like using democrats tactics against them . They (D) will be calling for reduced EV and transportation assistance if there is any evidence connecting these tactic to a democrat loss this cycle .

Doesn’t make sense to me that you can vote in multiple places as an option. That tells me they do not check if against rolls. I have one very specific place that has my name in the book that must be matched to my id, I have to sign and my ballot is recorded next to my name. So much frickery afoot in this country due to every state playing by a different set of rules.

In my Texas precinct, there is a no longer a paper book. They scan my DL, present a screen that asks me to verify the information and I sign electronically with a stylus.

It occurs to me that if this is the method, there is no reason to be limited by location.

If I lived in an area known for slackasses that waited until the final day of voting, and I was also a last minute slackass, I might be interested in finding a different location with shorter lines.
