It seems like everyone would like to live there, I know I definitely would. I know being born and raised in Louisiana, Colorado seems like a utopia compared to here lol.

For those of you who do live in Colorado, what do you like most about living there? The main negative I have heard is the cost of living, but are there any other negatives you have experienced?

I live here, and probably will leave within the next couple of years. It's fun, but it's expensive as all hell. I make pretty good money, and the idea that I can get a house out here around Denver is kind of asinine.

My brother lived there before we moved to Oregon. He liked it but said that it's getting crowded and expensive, which is pretty much how I'd describe where we're living now(Bend, OR).

ETA: If you're looking for great scenery and the freedom to smoke weed, I'd go with South Dakota or Montana.

Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Utah all have the natural beauty and things to do without being controlled by insane left wing politics.

There is no "best" state. For anyone.
There is always something that is nice in one state and something else in another state.
Nonetheless, I offer this music gem...

I love visiting Colorado. However, Coloradans are making up a huge part of development lot sales in upstate South Carolina. They hate what their government is doing to them and have had enough. If you are not marketing to Coloradans as a developer in the Carolinas, you are absolutely missing out.

It’s great! Business is booming, the amount of cranes dotting the Denver skyline is crazy. Everyday you read the news it’s 100+ jobs to this sector and 1000+ to that one. The politics aren’t worth melting over, very pro business here. Not a mask mandate to be had
