If he doesn’t allow the likes of Pelosi and Schmucky to coerce him into caving to their Marxist agenda I will agree…..we’ll see.

Manchin is probably one of the few Dims that has read past page 10 of the bill and knows the garbage that is tucked away inside.

I mean, I appreciate what he and Sinema did (or have done to this point), but let's not kid ourselves: they are Democrats and they will fall in line far more often than not on big matters. That means the progressive movement is alive, well, and still so perilously close to irreparably damaging this country.

You are correct, my mistake. And yes it is even worse that he voted to convict.

He would win in a landslide if he ran as a Republican if he came out and clearly stated why he switched.

Say what? You think Manchin is a conservative?

You're right. One of you is a moron and part of the problem in this country today.

Nope. That guy is a snake in the grass.

He’s trying to make himself look moderate where he’s intending to run for President.

He’s a well spoken con artist.

Obama and Clinton would be considered Republican at this point.

Don't be fooled. Watch what he and his State get from these negotiations after the Bill is passed. He has self interest like ALL politicians.

His state is becoming a deep red state by the minute…he may switch parties one day.

Republicans have a very thin bench in West Virginia.

The state was one of the last Southern states to go red dependably after many years of Democrat control.

Finding a good challenger for Manchin has been the main problem.

Manchin walked the fence until the fence ran out. The Meuller debacle, Impeachment, and finally the 'Steal' wasn't enough because the MSM gave the Dems plausible deniability.

But when the Dems got their power and began to use it, even Manchin couldn't justify the insane Dem Policy. For with an Open Border/Subsidization to all Comers, Massive Inflation and empty shelves, handing the Taliban $85 BILLION in our most powerful Military equipment while abandoning American Citizens to be hostages and importing God only knows how many Islamist terrorists; giving Putin/and ME Ayatollahs Energy control of Europe and covering for the CCP's Viral attack on our Nation and it's calamitous affect on our economy...and finally and most potently pernicious, teaching Critical Race Theory to our children...all but guaranteed outright electoral rebellion from those affected.

Not to mention Biden crapping his pants while talking to the the Pope and leading his ONE THOUSAND person entourage while sleeping through the opening statements at the big Climate Conference. A Conference that Russia and China did not even bother to attend. (No respect for the fool Biden).

I suspect Manchin will switch Party. His Dem Brethren are just too dirty to hang with; much less justify.
