That guy's what every politician in Wash.D.C. needs to aspire to. I'm not a liberal, but I've got more respect for him than 99.9% of the ALL politicians up there!

I agree. I just watched the interview and I agreed with almost everything he said. If we have more moderate Dems like him this country would be better off.

To hear him talk, you'd think he was a Republican.

I appreciate him digging his heels in, but he’s lying politician like the rest of em and no one should aspire to being such scum

He's the only hope for sanity, till the 2022 elections.

He's the only one who can keep them from destroying everything.

frick Joe Manchin! His arse is just as liberal as the others but he’s just better at hiding it than they are.

He’s a rare breed in the Democratic Party nowadays: a Democrat who uses common sense and actually represents his constituents

He dropped some bombs the other day, when he talked about the Dems playing a shell game within the bill. He also said that we should KNOW the cost before voting.

Democrats are toast because of covid fascism. Bottom line. People do not like how the Democrats have treated them. It will show at the ballot box.

Well he did subliminally give Trump credit for the U.S. being energy independent. Manchin agreed that we should still be energy independent.

He is just like most politicians in DC . He does enough to keep getting votes while filling his pockets and doing what the donors want.

Sorry, but I don't.

He represents one of the deepest red states in the Union and he votes for the party the vast majority of the time.

I realize it's their fault for electing him, but he's just another shill.

Sto listening to what politician's say. Pay attention only to how they vote.

He may be better than any other dim but his voting record means he has voted with the scum many times. Far to many for me to give him any respect.

Don't you wonder why he keeps getting elected?

I wonder why a lot of politicians get elected. The vast majority of them actually.

When he signs onto this multi trillion dollar monstrosity in the coming month, I hope your adoration for him holds steadfast.

Your right.
I've been told that he'd win in WV as a Republican if he chose to.

I remember reading where a Dem congressman from Oklahoma advised one colleague to "Vote liberal, press-release conservative".

Coal and the energy sector are kind of a big deal in WV, and he knows where his bread is buttered. I like him.
