What change is he looking for in the SEC?

Does he think the SEC is a racist white privileged conference?

Woody loves the saban guys. I could see it. If Tucker bombs out the rest of the season, that will change things IMO.

The more I look into Tucker the more I like him. Not saying he’s my favorite candidate, but I wouldn’t be upset if we hired him.

With that said, the way Michigan St closes out their season will really determine their interest level.

Interesting stuff

I don’t believe it’s Tucker because if they are indeed leaking some of this stuff then it’s for a reason and he’s not the actual target

I don’t care how close of friends they are, it is absurd to even talk to him about it. Especially during the season. And while he is the coach of our rival.

Saban is going to talk other coaches during the season? With good intentions? I think it would be wrong to even trouble him about it right now.

Moscona is the one who claimed Scott might pick Saban’s brain about coaches:

I heard this as well. Woodward was actually leaning towards Napier (they are very close) but after Saban recommended Tucker it seems to be changing things.

Everything else you are saying makes sense. Wouldn't surprise me if they are working out the details.

So is this like the nugget all those mfer's got saying it was Casey, and then Vitello, and then Forbes, and then Corbin, and not a swinging dick on this board called Johnson?

Yea, I'll call bull shite. Especially this early in the process.

The whole "white whale" theory is directly opposite of Tucker.

For a variety of reasons

I would go Napier then. Heh. He is more afraid of an offensive coach?

I hope it someone bigger than both these guys.

Because coaches are actually going to recommend a formidable opponent to coach against. Sure.

7)Tucker's buyout is 6 million before Jan 15th and drops to 2.5 million after Jan 15th. Therefore, money isn’t an issue.

Barring a playoff run, look for the announcement to occur on November 29.

You think MSU is just going to let us hire their coach on November 29 but pay the reduced buyout after January 15th?

There is so much smoke it seems intentional. It is ridiculous at this point.

Of course they are. That’s what the sauces are saying baw. We all know Woody doesn’t keep a tight ship about coaching hires so there’s leaks all over the place, regardless whether they make any sense whatsoever in the real world.

I'm putting a reminder for November 29th on my calendar. So when this doesn't come true I remember to come here and laugh at you.

4) Scott is big into recruiting. Tucker has copied the Bama and UGA recruiting model.

People are underestimating how big of an advantage this will be in recruiting, if he is successful.
