Aranda and Tucker have almost the same resume. Only difference is our fans’ familiarity with Aranda.

That’s a huge difference though. I think most people are aware that Aranda has a small sample size as head coach.

I am hearing Mel Tucker will not be considered for the lsu job, One of the main factors is that he has a very large buyout.

With the exception of this season, he has only had one other winning season as head coach.

Freeze or bust

He may have beat Saban twice, but he lost to Bret Bielema three times. Freeze had a few upset wins at ole miss but he would turn around lose games he should never lose. He was 5-7 and dead last in the SEC west in his last season at ole miss.

Do we really want another Ole Miss reject that's learned from his mistakes?

Don’t worry, it will just give them a reason to bitch about the players “turning on the coach because of his political beliefs” if they have a bad game.

Then why did anyone support the Orgeron hire?

And why do people want Jimbo when he’s accomplished the EXACT SAME THING as Sumlin did at A&M.

If it's Napier or Chadwell something went terribly wrong. They are like 5 or 6th on the list bro.

I have no opinion about Tucker personally, but I hope buyouts arent an issue. I hope the attitude is "go get your guy no matter what".

MSU has made big financial commitments to the football program. They have a new football facility being planned. They have given Tucker everything he has asked for to this point. I just don’t see the guy moving his family 3 times in 3 years. I could be wrong.

One of the main factors is that he has a very large buyout.

The main factor should be that his career coaching record is 14-12 (after starting 7-0 against a glorified HS schedule), and having yet to coach in a bowl game in his career.

He simply is not qualified yet. He needs 3 to 4 more seasons under his belt before he can move up in the ranks.

Main factor is that he's like 14-12 as a HC, isnt he?

This remains a mystery to me.

You look at the whole resume. Jimbo has a ring; Sumlin doesn't. Jimbo isn't lighting the world on fire at A&M yet, but he's doing better than Sumlin. Sumlin's one good season was with a heisman qb that he didn't recruit. Jimbo finished 4th in the nation last year and their only loss was to bama.
