Will Cincinnati next month provide a home field advantage vs Mexico?

I don’t know the demographics or the makeup of Cincy. Columbus always gives us a raucous home crowd vs Mexico, will Cincy be able to do the same?

Based on the ticket prices, who knows.
Not sure a bunch of Americans will pay three figures for a soccer match, while Mexican fans will give up their house for tickets

Same demographics. Hope for a strong cold front, maybe some light snow.

A win over Mexico and I’d feel very good about qualification chances

yeah, we will do fine. i will be there with four (4) white people doing my part.
there is an extremely active latin american (especially mexican) soccer community here, but that is no different than any other city in the country.
the way the ticket lottery works for these things is going to put the heavy, heavy majority of tickets into the hands of american fans. the secondary market is certainly enticing to sell and im sure plenty will.
there was no shortage of costa ricans in columbus tonight, which is a significantly smaller fanbase. mexican fans will find their way into the stadium, no doubt, but it should be an incredibly rowdy and american audience.

This caught me off guard, and I lol’d hard.

the Columbus factor is gone. there isn’t a place in the lower 48 where it will matter. before we all die, this will be Mexico

Hopefully they decide to come up to Cinci last minute and get stuck in traffic on that bridge where the KY/OH border is

Canada is playing Mexico in Edmonton. It's a low of 29 in Edmonton tonight. How's that going to be in a month?
Canucks ain't playing around no more.

Do you think Canada will take us whiteys?

Should be miserable. I remember Ilya Bryzgalov saying Edmonton was cold as frick.

Cincy is arguably the most MAGA major league city in the United States. I'm actively working to land a job in the Queen City so that I may cheer on Smokin' Joe Burrow in person whilst romancing a beautiful young Kentucky belle.

That seems like a odd choice now that Canada is good.
Are Alphonso Davies, Jonny David, and Cyle Larin used to playing in Edmonton? Certainly not the latter two and Davies hasn’t lived there since puberty. Are they rugged mountain men who love cold weather?
There’s a reason why we don’t play games against Jamaica in Alaska or Montana in the winter. Our guys would hate it too.
Playing in Edmonton is shitty winter conditions increases the odds of a sloppy game that ends in a 0-0 draw. That’s what Canada would have wanted 4 years ago but I don’t think that’s the case any longer.

What part of Canada has nice soccer weather in mid November?

Looks like November in Victoria, BC is in the 50s
That’s not bad at all

Edmonton is 15-20 degrees colder than Toronto and Vancouver at that time of the year.
Posted on 10/14/21 at 4:37 pm to Keys Open Doors
Vancouver actually has a pretty mild winter

Vancouver in winter though wet, is not going to be too terribly different than what continental European players experience
