Same here- except in Mathews.

Hatches are all battened down. We’ll see if all of the hoops I jumped through 6 years ago build this place tough were worth it.

Galliano airport ASOS site. One to watch for wind speeds in a few hours as the eye wall passes.

Had to be the best few hours in the history of tOT. I love storms and also impressed with what they can do….but that night was just unbelievable to watch…thinking we were being narrated to by a man that would be dead at any minute

Can someone help me? I could not convince my kid to leave New Orleans. He lives 1/2 mile north of Loyola. I’m terrified and have no idea what to expect for that area. Kids are so hard headed.

Anyone know if that guy who got caught in the surge during Laura is streaming today? I'm sure he's somewhere stupid.

Hope he makes it out ok. After this lesson he will have no desire to stay for others.

He should be fine. Will lose power but should not have any flood concerns.

Area doesn’t flood if the structure is sturdy and he doesn’t get too drunk he will be ok.
