Fauci Demands Vaccine Hesitant 'Get Over This Political Statement'
Dr. Anthony Fauci vented his frustration with unvaccinated Americans on Wednesday during a segment with MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, in which he called on those who have not been vaccinated to “get over this political statement.”
“This is not complicated. We’re not asking anybody to make a political statement one way or another,” Fauci said. “We’re saying, try to save your life, and that of your family, and that of your community.
“We have so many things, as you said, so many diseases that I deal with that don’t have solutions,” he continued. “It’s very frustrating. You don’t have a treatment, you don’t have a vaccine. Here we have a vaccine that’s highly, highly effective in preventing disease and certainly in preventing severe disease and hospitalization.
“It’s easy to get, it’s free and it’s readily available so you’ve got to ask, what is the problem? Get over it,” Fauci demanded. “Get over this political statement and try to save the lives of yourself and your family.”
Social media users informed the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases vaccine “hesitancy” has nothing to do with politics and that this attitude will do nothing to convince those Americans to get the jab.

My politics have nothing to do with not wanting to inject unproven chemicals into me or my family's bodies. It has everything to do with logic, risk evaluation and most importantly, prior experience with being lied to by the government, specifically Fauci.

If it was a political statement wouldn't Conservatives be rushing out to get it being as the vaccine was developed under the Trump administration? It's projection at this point, leftists including Biden and Harris, said they'd be hesitant to take it while Trump was in office. In other words, because of politics, and they certainly weren't alone. Because they were against them at first due to politics they think those of us not getting it must be for that reason also. Politics has nothing to do with why myself and many others haven't had it. For me personally, outside of working from home my life never changed due to the virus. If the point of the vaccine is to get back to normal, why would I take it when life for me is back to normal? Fauci and the rest of the political elites need frick off and let us live our lives without their condemnation

Honestly, the best way to get people to get the vaccine will probably to be to have him step down, replace him with someone that can been seen as politically agnostic, and for the white house, cdc, and administration to stop politicizing people who are anti-vax as right-wing loons.
In fact, if the white house really truly wanted to get a high number of people vaccinated and stop using it as political theatre, I would think the best way to do it would be by blaming the organization who brought this on us, CCP. To cast them as the enemy would likely bring Americans closer in alignment which I think would bring about public sentiment to get over the virus and hold those responsible accountable for their actions.
Saying all this, I have the vaccine, and I encourage everyone to get the vaccine. I think a lot of the public disinformation is coming from foreign actors that are trying to cripple the US economy by keeping vaccine rates down and political division high.
