The fans are mainly unhappy due to the players. Their lackadaisical approach to the game is shite. Zion not truly caring about his body and showing up out of shape is shite. Ingram refusing to play defense is shite. Lonzo showing up every 4th game is shite. Bledsoe playing to half his potential is shite.

If these guys actually gave a frick, this would have been a top 5 seeded team this past season

This is what it's starting to look like to me. If the guy is sending signals at this point, he's not going to change his tune with a play in, a first round slot or even making it out of the first round. At this point the NBA is a few Globtrotter teams and everyone else are the Washington Generals. He wants to be on a Globtrotter team and the leaks will keep coming.

They should just move the team out of the state of Louisiana. Take the saints while you are at it.

Rachel Nicholes had a great speech about how great New Orleans is and how passionate out fan bases is. Those seem like the only two not beating the get Zion to a big market drum today.

I’m almost done with the nba —-should just contract the league to about 8-10 teams

This will be the end of the Pelicans for the foreseeable future if true. The team can’t keep a superstar happy to save there lives.

Ugh. Not the news I wanted today. I was hoping we wouldn't get this drama before even his third season, my God. His family needs to chill.

That doesn’t mean Zion wants out.

Of course he family wants him a new team after two coaches and two disastrous seasons. Two all stars getting trading in two years. All his friends making it to the playoffs. Becoming the most efficient scorer and that’s not enough. This off season is a make it or break it tbh. Booker was similiar till they gave him help.

Booker's in year 6, Zion year 2.

Don't get me wrong, failing next season doesn't help at all, but Zion is still extremely likely to sign the max.

The odds that he signs the QO is so extremely small, it's not worth worrying about much right now IMO. We have more than 1 season to fix this, just like Booker needing 5 seasons and into the 6th before making a move.

Curious if part of making Zion happy is by making sure you bring Lonzo back.

Winning is what will make Zion truly happy. Lonzo has been a big factor in the losing, his relationship should not impact whether you keep him or not, it's all about the play on the court.

You can't just pigeonhole yourself with shitty overpaid players because they're Zion's friend, because then he will still leave.

I've been unable to stomach the NBA the last couple of seasons. It started when KD signed with GSW but the Pels sucking hasn't really helped. This superteam shite makes it a horrible product on top of the inflated scores (yeah I get it with the pace of play but it's still meh). Like you said, might as well just contract the league to 8-10 teams at this point.

You think I don't realize that? I was saying that because I hope his relationship isn't what brings him back and if we do, I wonder if it will be because we were trying to make zion happy instead of letting the GM be the GM, not a 20 year old.

Sell the franchise to Seattle. Screw the NBA. Bring a hockey team here.

Zion has to be one of the youngest stars to pull this card, after only 2 years with an organization. For being characterized as a humble kid, he hasn't seemed very humble at all.

I'm probably being naive, but zion hasn't pulled anything.. so far this sounds like someone in his circle/family leaking rumors to a media that is salivating to get him to another team

He won't be in NOLA long, Zion is a young kid that is heavily influenced by his family. So, if this report is true, then NOLA will lose another top star. But they'd better get a ton of talent for him, shite, it's looking like the Lakers got over big time for Davis.

What needs to happen is Griff needs to go and sit down with Zion and his family and show them video of him half assing it on defense and making low IQ plays in crunch time, while showing up out of shape, then have a reality check and tell them, you want to win this is what you need to do.

oh yeah

that's REALLY what we need to do now

we also needed to be total assholes to JJ for no real reason whatsoever

that's how you change the reputation of being a Mickey Mouse organization that has no respect and lots of distain with the league's players

LOL - how can any self-respecting man stay a fan of this league? They openly shite on our country, work on multiple fronts to conduct fraudulent elections in swing states, and push leftist nonsense on our culture 24/7.

The players are now forcing their way out of their original city in under 3 seasons. Enjoy, simps.
