Not bad when you get past the crappy 7 minute intro.

I think it was relatively normal compared to some of his other specials.

I disagree completely, but maybe that's part of what makes BB so great.

IMO seeing him stand on stage and "do comedy" is great. And it's great because very rarely does he just stand up there and tell jokes. His performances are usually a step or two ahead of the audience, and when he lets you in on the joke, that's when it pays off. And even when he doesn't, you can still usually recognize what he's doing and why. Hell, even with the bits I don't find funny (or don't agree with politically, for example) I can still understand and appreciate.

This one felt so different because not only was he not on stage with an audience, but he was able to edit everything exactly how he wanted to. Sometimes that was weird and felt off (like some of the up close shots or shots in his underwear) and sometimes it was great (like the white woman IG bit).

Pretty perfect description. I always thought this music video was pure dark genius satire:

I suppose I meant the actual joke content/topics. you have a point in the editing for awkwardness/weird vs real life performance. at the beginning I remember making a mental note about his editing ability to compare to his usual weirdness lol. maybe I think its more weird to pull off that kind of thing live than having all of covid to edit it idk.

I think the “Can I interest you in everything, all of the time” song near the beginning of the second half was the most disturbingly true piece. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.

It was great on a lot of levels, but especially since he did it all himself. The man should be writing and producing Broadway shows. Hell, this is pretty much a one-man Broadway-style production.

It might be the smartest thing I've seen in a while.

Here's the actual "Welcome to the Internet" song/performance. I imagine it won't last long though, because youtube keeps deleting them. But if anybody wants to watch the actual song, that's it and you can probably watch it for a little while.

ETA: edited with a good link now that Bo put it up on his YT channel. So the link should always be good to go now.

The sexting song was great.

I didn’t laugh as much as I hoped I would. But kudos to the guy, impressive to do all that work by yourself

It was his least “funny” special, in my opinion, but it was far and away his best. And I’ve been a Bo fan since 2007 when “My Whole Family Thinks I’m Gay” blew up.

Agree completely. Pretty remarkable what he was able to accomplish on his own. He definitely isn’t for everyone but I think he’s terrific

I don't know if I will call it his "best," but it's certainly his most ambitious for sure. I may try to watch it again this weekend and pay more attention to lyrics and whatnot and see what I think about it after a second viewing.
