Today I received an e-mail from someone I work with from time to time. She works for a large organization.
In her e-mail signature, behind her name and credentials, is (she/her/hers) just like that.
Quit... just, quit

I would limit my communication with anyone who keeps their pronouns in their email signature.

I refuse to acknowledge it and will never participate.

This, other than making a mental note that person is an idiot, that’s getting ignored.

I have no control over the signature at my workplace. In fact, I have no clue what it says. I just hope that when they do it, they tag me correctly. I identify with bo/ob/ie/s

I would consider this very unprofessional. Keep your personal life out of business. That includes your fictional identification politics.

I work in a pretty conservative profession, and most of my clients are pretty conservative, so this is first I have seen of it.
ditto. i've seen none of it.
that being said, there's a few people in Austin that do it internally and with our firm, but don't for customers in Texas because they know that wouldn't fly.
all of them are california or NE transplants.

Anytime someone contacts me about coming to work for them and they have pronouns in their email signature, it is an automatic no for me.

1) This is the O-T, not poli talk. But your comment proves that many of y'all don't know the difference. 2) My "pretty strong liberal views" are only that way because most of the poli talk board is hard, hard, HARD right.
While things have been moving this direction for years, the rise of the Fox News & Trump cults have cemented this as the new reality of politics.
Anything less that 100% adherence raises questions of loyalty. Those folks get labeled “RINOs”. Anyone who considers themselves as a moderate is labeled as a communist.
I’d imagine the same thing exists in places that are more liberal, with the labels changed.
Just my .02, but too many people allow a “party choice” dictate how they feel on every single issue. They regurgitate what they see on Facebook or Fox News rather than thinking for themselves.

Why put her and hers? Are there people that use a different gender pronoun when it’s in possessive form?

I think it's funny that in a subject about people choosing their gender pronouns you've come to the conclusion that it's Fox News and Trump that are the extremists.
