re: Frank Sinatra's desert house hasn't sold in 15 years

Who ever owns it could easily pull in a couple million selling all the contents of the house at auction, including the light fixtures. Owning a piece of art that hung on the wall of Sinatra's house would be cool to some collectors. Then sell the damn property for a million. Be done with this.

Imagine the parties that were held there. JFK and The Rat Pack with oodles of starlets.

Think of all the stories that house could tell if the walls could talk.
I’d be willing to bet the Rat Pack spent some interesting times there.
I probably wouldn’t do a ton of upgrades if I had the coin to buy it purely because of the history.

Ol' Blue Eyes said it best. "You gotta love livin' in the middle of nowhere baby, 'cause the city is a pain in the arse."

Fine, but you’ll pay a hell of lot more for Pacific Ocean beachfront.

Does it come as pictured with the furnishings and art work? THat would be super cool to own and leave it exactly as is.
Talk about a place that has seen some amazing parties...

Elon Musk had bought some homes like this. Surprised a billionaire hasn’t snagged it up just because. Middle of nowhere is the new it place to vacation these days. Could get the hell away there and looks like there’s plenty of amenities to stay busy for a week. It’s gotta duck pretty bad to not have sold.

That interior design being pretty shitty has a lot to do with it. It would become an eyesore within a week.

Owning a Manhattan penthouse Sinatra partied in would have some cache, but a horribly outdated lodge in the desert? They are pricing this in hopes an investor wants to put down a hotel/spa resort type thing, but I think they will be waiting a while longer, being fifteen years hasn't driven that point home.

But its location “in the middle of nowhere” has made it difficult to sell in the last 15 years.
no, the price is why it hasnt sold in 15 years and literally 80% of people today would have to google frank sinatra to know who he is so the star power that made them think that alone should double the price, doesnt work when no one knows or cares who owned it before
price it at a flat $2 mil and maybe you get an offer and sell it, the taxes on it alone this last 15 years has to add up to more then the asking price
