Going to be driving through Philadelphia. Who has the best cheese steaks?

There's always Geno's and Pat's. You can get one from each and compare. Both are good.
But I think the best Philly sandwich is the Italian roast pork with broccoli rabe and smoked provolone.

the most overrated sandwich on earth. went to philly to visit a friend a few years ago and we hit all the big cheesesteak spots. swear to god I've had better ones down here

John's Roast Pork in South Philley has both a killer roast pork sandwich and my favorite cheesesteak. Definitely get the roast pork with broccoli rabe. Jim's on South Street is also a solid cheesesteak. As always, gotta go with whiz and grilled onions.

Angelo’s in S Philly has both the best pizza and cheesesteaks in the city. Honestly both are up there for the entire country he is pushing out crazy good food. You will need to call about 100x to get through as he is not accepting walk ups right now.
Roast pork at John’s. Porcos has an incredible take on a pork sandwich too.

Maybe the hype of the actual Philly places, but a cheesesteak is a damn good sandwich.
Best Philly cheese steak in Greensboro, NC is Monks out off Hwy 29 on Cone Blvd. If any posters are from this area, you should try it out.

Liberty Cheesesteaks in New Orleans is better than Geno’s for sure.
