I'm really not anti-Disney, I assume I'll take my kid once or twice. But most of the people I know who go all the time pretty much exclusively go to Disney and don't do anything else.

Disney is a fun trip, especially with the kids. I could never go there more than once every few years though.
The wife and I were at Disney years ago. We were having dinner at the Hibachi place in Epcot. We were sitting next to a couple a couple of years older than us. I started talking to the husband:
"How long have yall been at Disney?"
"Almost two weeks."
"Wow, a two week vacation?"
"Yeah, and we have another two weeks to go."
"A whole month at Disney?"
"Yup. We do this a couple of times a year."
So this guy and his wife spend at least 2 months out of the year at Disney.
Good for them for finding something they really enjoy, I guess.

I think it's a good selling point - nobody is uplifted by wokeness, which is all about finding problems in all things. Black people are told everything is worse than they thought, and they're unable to rise above their circumstances because racism is pervasive. But there is no salvation or redemption, it's just working for life to diminish yourself until you die.
James Lindsay screamed about this when going through a paper about how Horton Hears a Who is a white savior story that diminishes indigenous people. Of course in reality Horton Hears a Who is an objectively good story about a good elephant looking out for others, but the woke movement disagrees. "Who the frick is served by this?" was basically the takeaway.

Damn that was pathetic. Disney has sucked for years. Flying across the country, paying thousands of dollars, standing in lines for lame rides, and being crammed in crowds with strangers was all perfectly acceptable for humpty dumpty. But seeing someone's natural hair or a tattoo on a worker just RUINS it for him. Imagine going through life so soft...
