What's your favorite debut album from a band ?

I've got a short list of my favorites, but this one seems to rise above the rest for me.

Lynyrd Skynyrd (Pronounced 'Leh-'nérd 'Skin-'nérd)

Not a bad song on the album.

I Ain't The One
Tuesday's Gone
Gimme Three Steps
Simple Man
Things Goin' On
Mississippi Kid
Poison Whiskey
Free Bird

A few others that are incredible 1st albums...

Bad Company - Bad Company
Guns N Roses - Appetite For Destruction
Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin
Dire Straits - Dire Straits
AC/DC - High Voltage

What are your favorites ?

PJ gets plenty of hate, much of which is deserved, but their debut was a masterpiece that redefined the music scene. I'm hit and miss with everything they released afterwards, but this one is timeless.

I second the mentions of the debut records from Boston, Kiss, and Ramones.

I'll add...

Lorde - Pure Heroine. This album was so good that she's pretty well dropped out of sight since its release. She was cursed by putting-out a perfect record for its genre with her debut album. There was nowhere to go but down, afterward.
